The committee objectives are:
- Follow up on the International health regulations.
- Ensure the communication of health, customs and legal regulations both in origin and destination countries to ensure the efficient movement of Thoroughbreds, both for competition and reproduction.
- Work on a protocol in common for all South America in order to facilitate temporary movement of Thoroughbred amongst member countries.
- Harmonize international regulations according to the guidelines set by IFHA.
