Brazilian jockey based in Argentina, Francisco Leandro Fernandes Gonçalves, has been invited this year to participate in the international championship World All-Star Jockeys, which will take place at the Sapporo Racecourse in Japan on August 23 and 24, 2025.
Although over the years other South American jockeys have competed in Asian races, this is the first time a jockey will participate on behalf of South America in the horse racing event where Japan’s most important races are held.
